It isn't quite the same sailing under a ship without sails as black as night. I'll never get used to the plain, grey, boring sails of this bloody ship, not to mention the plain, mostly grey, boring crew that held it together. Getting off this driftwood disaster floating about the Carribbean would be most satisfying. Tortuga was the destination, not but a half a kilometer away now, the light of the run-down houses and the many burning torches illuminating the even more run-down populace milling about the streets. As the ship slowly made its way to the dock, the men threw ropes down to the men below to secure the ship. Smiling a bit to myself, I took in the wonderful scent of weeks-old ale and unwashed bodies. The ship slowed, and I practically lept down the gantry onto the dock when it was set. The first mate knew how to keep the men in order while I was gone, although I expected them all to be thoroughly drunk by nights end. But no matter, they wouldn't interefere with my investigation. No doubt somebody in this dirt old town knew something about Jack's whereabouts. The town was practically his avatar, only less linguistic. I figured I'd better get started. No sense in waiting. I started a steady walk down the dock towards the wharfmaster, to ask him if the Pearl had been in dock lately.

I turned my head just slightly over my shoulder just to see if anyone had been there I got to turn back then having to take a double take. Was it?...it was! Barbossa! *what i he doinghere?* i thought still looked athim my brows furrowed. I turn back to Amelia and motion over to him with my thumb. "I think he is out for revenge" I said to Amelia my voice in almost a whisper. I whisper to Amelia again "Have you not heard the stories?" I asked "Captian Barbossa and his crew of miscreats sailes from the deaded ile de mureta, it's an island that can't be foun, only by those who already know where it is. Now, he and his crew found the cursed treasure of cotez himself. though barbossa didn't believe in the curse that was layed uopn the gold. find it he did, he and his crew spend them and treaded them fretted them away, the soon came to realizethat nothing would be satisfactory for him. mean ing they could not eat. and not eating resolved in death but se they were cursed and could not die,Jack and Will lifted the curse but not before barbossa sent out his crew to go and kill off the peopel on the dauntless whitch was floating just off shore, but jsut before Will and Jack lifted the curseJack shot barbossa. how the curse was lifted in that all the peiced og the gold had to be restored and will cut his hand spread his blood on the lasp peice and tropped into the stone chest..Barbossa was actually shot and began to beed...though i don't know why he is here...or alive for that matter.
I look ever one more time to make sure that he hasn't seen us...yet.

I listened to Anne was this true?, it had to be. I felt my stomach form into a pit as I thought about Jack and the trouble he was in, I took in a long breathe and said "we have to help Jack...I-" then I cut myself off, I couldn't tell this girl I just met how I felt about Jack Sparrow!.
I looked over to Barbossa and then taking all my courage kept yself from walking over to him and stabbing him in the back, I felt that I needed to help Jack but how?.

Anne smiled at Amelia. "You care for Jack, don't you!" I said smiling "Thats great I'm really happy for you" I smiled hoping that I would be ablt to make good friends with this girl she seemd to be nice enough and well, she just had this vibe about her. "But you are right, we have to warn Jack some how" I said placing myindex finger on my chin and began to think.

I looked downwards as Anne clued in that I had feelnigs for Jack. "Yes" I mumbled under my breathe, I sighed frustrated and looked over my shoulder to Barbossa, he looked like a very unkind man. I then looked back to Anne "your right...why not go back to the Pearl and warn him there...away from Barbossa?" I questioned, I waited for the younger girl to speak.

Continuing towards the wharfmasters, I noticed that I had caught the eye of two young ladies, and not in the fashion that I'd prefer. These two were glancing at me distastefully. My reputation couldn't have travelled this quickly, could it? Everyone thought I was dead! No matter, they might actually be a pair of relatively civil women, disgusted by my shaggy appearance. Although the likelyhood of that was slim-to-nil in Tortuga. I wasn't about to be caught off-guard, though, so I kept my eye on them as I moved up to the wharfmaster's doorway and banged my hand on it several times, dust and mold cascading down from the shoddy roof.

I hurried down the docks towards Anne and Amelia when I reached them I took Anne’s hand then my brown eyes caught a familiar face, Barboosa!. What was he doing here?, I turned to both women “we best get out of his stare” I said dragging Anne behind me Amelia fallowed. I wanted to get far from Barbossa then warn Jack when he caught up with us.

I stoped behind a local tavern and pulled Will inot me, though i didn't know how close I had puled Will. "Why his he here..You may knoe... come on every one knows the stories" I said lookinging to his deep brown eyes.

The wharfmaster didn't answer his door. A wise decision on his part. He must be out along the docks. It would, however, be time consuming to go and look all along the docks for him. Growling slightly to myself, I resisted the urge to break down the door just to make sure he wasn't there and turned to go back towards the main docks. Something caught my eye as I turned, and I stopped to make sure it was who I thought it was. "Young Will Turner...took after 'yer father quite well, I see," I mumbled to myself. He was with those same two young ladies that had been giving me a spiteful glance before. It would seem that they did know me, after all. He was holding ones hand, too; seems he got rid of that young Elizabeth. A shame, she was such a pretty thing. But no matter. William was quite a helping hand to Jack and his lot; stealing my damn ship and putting my crew in jail. Will would pay his dues as well, in due time, that was for sure...but for now, I needed him to find out where Jack was. Putting on a smile, I began to walk towards the threesome, briskly but not threateningly so. If I could get Jack and Will together, I might be able to...kill two birds with one stone. I just needed to keep a level head, until I could be sure where Jack was.

I too kin a deep breathe and looked around hte corner, he was walking towards us!. I turned to Anne and held her hand tighter "he's coming this way we must get into the tavern and far away from Barbossa" I said in a stern voice.
