The only thing that I could hear was my scabby boots just clipping along the ole' cobblestone pavement. Ahead of me was the great statue that marked the center of the great Port Royal, home to many and damned by few. Damned was what I was after, a few more damned pirate's to work pon the Pearl. Truely it should be some honour, some great honour to work for me.. of course it would. "My great pysical appearence would charm any folk pirate or land lubber either way..." I thought chuntering away to myself in my head was one of the best talents that I had. Except from crewing and sailing of course.
Of course it was obvious I enveyed* only me myself and I... and of course Jack Sparrow. That wierd and ... yet nobal man that I should envey over. Wait.. that's me. Humming a tune as if I was not speaking to myself I reach the great statue. Rolling my fingertips down the leg of the metal horse I thought of that the Pearl. She was strong, fast and tall enough to be pictured as a horse. The ship that could easily be pictured... soon black sails and black wood jumped into my mind. No.. I couldn't picture her as a animal. That would be offensive to her...
I sigh as I let my hand drop to my sides once more as I turned round and sat on the edge of the marble podium thing standing the statue. Tapping my feet I keep my large hat covering the top half of my face and my long dread locks dangling over my shoulders. I could see... I could see lots of people, but none worthy enough...

I scowled largely as I stepped unevenly down the uncomfortably paved streets of Port Royale. The ground beneath me was too solid, too sturdy to feel appropriate under my sea-accustomed feet. How anyone could stand to live a life on land was beyond me. How I managed to live on land before the Banshee seemed like insanity. I'd just left my most recent ship - the Jessica, only I'd been expecting the captain to drop me at Tortuga as most other captains do. At least in Tortuga I could find another crew to join the ranks of. But what jobs were there to be had for an honorable pirate in Port Royale?
And there was the grand Port Royale statue. I narrowed my eyes at the thing. How I detested being here. I had enough coins to buy perhaps a day's worth of meals, but I'd likely be here weeks before I'd find anyone willing to take me aboard. I glared up into the face of the elegant metal horse and slowly my eyes slid down to the bottom of the statue. I raised an eyebrow at the man sitting there looking more than slightly suspicious, and suddenly realized how conspicuous I must look, myself. A young woman, smeared with dirt, hair chopped off, and wearing men's clothes. And carrying a sword, no less. I didn't even have a decent hat to hide my clearly-feminine features.
I groaned, trying to recall whether or not there was a warrant out for my arrest at the moment. No, not as far as I can remember. So lost in thought, by this time, I had almost completely forgotten the man by the statue, although, I was vaguely aware that he must surely be a pirate...

Ahhh... My eyes gazed into the woman's direction. Clearly stating as what I was definatly after. I gapped my mouth for a bit, reliazing about what I was going to do. Then quickly relising that I have done this before. I sighed as my hand pushed me away from the statue I sat on. I brushed down my coat and then began to prominade her way. My feet were clearly not in line, and of course I felt myself drifting away from a straight direction. Gazing forward at this clear woman I slowly paced myself down just slow enough so I wouldn't reach her in a quick time.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I was aware of someone's eyes on me. Looking up, I caught the glance of the strange man that had been by the statue. He was barely a yard away by now and had a very curious smile on his face. My hand went instinctively to my sword.
"Don't be trying anything funny, sir," I said warningly, starting to pull the blade out of it's holder. This man was certainly a pirate, but I was having trouble deciding if he was trustworthy or not. Still, he was a fellow pirate, and at least worth a moment's contemplation. I slid my sword back into it's holder to show I meant no harm.

"Ahh don't worry lass..." I froze my steps and still kept my distance, although the thought of a good ole' sword fight right now would bring a few of my spirits up. Slouching my back slightly I began to rest at eaze now that I was with somone looking a bit more my type. I held my hand out as to say hi a greetings if this woman knew what I was doing. I waited for her reply but before she could do anything I emidatly butted in. "Yes you shake it love... it is a form of saying hello." Giving my cheesy yet suspectingly warm girn to her.

I eyed his hand suspiciously for a moment, then went with instinct and grabbed it, shaking it lightly. I allowed myself a small smile at his warm, eccentric grin.
"So, who're you?" I asked, pulling my hand back and arching an eyebrow. Then, before he could respond, I continued, a little more enthusiastically, "Do you have a ship?"

" Aye, I be CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow savvy, 'n you lass? " I said emphasising greatly on the word 'captain.' Wow I answered two questions in one! I let go of her hand and let it swing back down to my hips again. Soon getting bored of standing in that pose I crossed my arms and relaxed my one leg by stretching it outwards and keeping the other one clearly sturdy straight.
